Target group

The training programme targets employees from the following Moldovan public institutions:

Ministry of Infrastructure and Regional Development (MIRD): the central authority responsible for coordinating and implementing regional and local development policies;

Regional Development Agencies (RDAs): including North RDA, Centre RDA, South RDA, ATU Gagauzia RDA and Chisinau Municipal RDA – these agencies play a crucial role in implementing regional development strategies;

Regional Development Council (RDC) of Chisinau Municipality: representatives from local governments, particularly mayors from suburban municipalities, are included to ensure the programme addresses both regional and local needs;

National Office for Regional and Local Development (NORLD): this office is responsible for coordinating regional and local development initiatives across Moldova.

The target group includes specialists in regional planning, project management, monitoring and evaluation and public procurement, all of whom are critical to the successful implementation of EU-funded projects in Moldova.
